Yesterday we saw how to make homemade texture paste and add it to a layout! Today, Designer Iris Babao Uy is here to show us how to add color once it dries!
Isn't her layout STUNNING!???
Citrus Squeeze is FULL of gorgeous colors so Iris decided to choose a few of her favorites from this {BEAUTIFUL} color palette!!
After choosing her stencils and preparing her texture paste on a piece of cardstock (see yesterday's post for detailed instructions), Iris' layout is ready for some color!
Once the texture paste is dry, Iris adds colors using mist...
Next, in order to make the texture POP, she adds pan pastels over the areas with the mediums, allowing for even more color on top of the mists!
Here's a closer look at the texture! We're in LOVE to say the least!
This layout is breathtaking, don't you agree!? AND the texture paste is a beautiful addition to the AMAZING patterns and colors of Citrus Squeeze!

ALL of the papers Iris used in her layout are available on our site! Here are a few of her favorites to click on if you'd like to pick some up for yourself!
Gorgeous page as always! Love her stunning use of color and the masking adds such wonderful depth and texture! TFS!

I love this layout. Thanks for sharing the technique. I think that I'm going to try it out later tonight.
