Today we continue our "Getting to Know You" with two more fabulous designers who've recently joined our family.
First, take a peek at this adorable layout from Tanya Batrak:
Name: Tanya Batrak
Where you live: Ukraine, Kiev
How long have you been scrapbooking?I have been scrapbooking since May 2009. When I was pregnant I decided to make an album about my baby. So I’ve started browsing in the web and this is how I have found about scrapbooking. Can you believe it! I who love photographing, painting, sewing, crafting have never heard about it before. I was amazed, it appeared to be a hobby which combines everything I love.
Where do you find your inspiration?
It may sound trivial but I find it everywhere. My family, my friends, their pictures, their expressions, paper, embellishments, colors or pattern on my neighbor’s jacket, quotes, watercolor painting or avant-garde graphic, magazines…But the main point is that you need to open your mind to able to spy interesting details and ideas in unexpected place. You may browse galleries and Pinterest all day in a search of inspiration looking thought hundreds of pictures and you will be wasting your time if you do not train your mind to spy details. Recently I’ve read a wonderful book "The Creative Habit" written by Twyla Tharp, lots of ideas and advices.
Do you create better alone or with friends? With food/drinks or without? With or without music?
I prefer to create alone. When there is a cloud of people around me I can’t concentrate. While crafting I always drink latte or green tea and listen to audiobooks. I rarely turn music on.
What color combos are inspiring you right now?
I just adore yellow and gray colors. They are my favs right now. I already want Spring to come so a little bit of pink, peach and green will suit as well.
Favorite new WP products?
Sweet Notes and Composition and Color are my favorite! I love the design--so bright, so colorful. And the cards overlays, Washi Tapes and mini bags are so cute! Taking into account that this year I started Project Life these little helpers definitely come in handy.
What scrapbooking trends are your favorites? (Could include trends from days gone by…what would you bring back if you could?)
To my love for chevron and circles two more trends have been added recently. And they are arrows and b&w stripes. They all are multipurpose and you can use them in any project you like. And they will look good!

Loving loving both of these pages.
That little squared-off starburst in the top layout is perfect.
The simplicity of the second page on that beautiful woodgrain paper with white script is just fantastic.

Very cool! Love the scene Tanya created on her lo, complete with a sun and birds on a wire. :-D Fab twine centered flower on Kerry Lynn's lo! Wonderfully inspiring, ladies!
