Before you toss all those sweet little Valentine greetings your kids brought home from school, why not create a special keepsake box with your kids this weekend?
Out of ideas? We're here to help...first, bask in the cuteness of Jaz Lee's little boy:
Together with his momma, this little guy created this masterpiece:
Jaz created a little pencil/scissors holder out of an empty toilet paper roll covered in patterned paper. Then, she adhered the roll onto hand-cut butterfly wings.
The results are a sweet and adorable keepsake, a place to save this year's greetings in style!
Tomoko Takahasi also went to work creating with this little sweetheart:
And her little purse is a quick and easy creation every little girl will LOVE:
First, Tomoko folded the foundation of her purse from a sheet of patterned cardstock, cutting coordinating sheets as accents and then helping her daughter adhere them on:
Once they had the background created, they cut a strip of paper for the handle and covered it in Washi Tape.
Next, they created the button to secure the purse together:
And all that was left was to decorate this beauty! And they did! The Quick Picks bows are the perfect addition for any little girl's purse, don't you think?
Simple. Sweet and fun to make. Hope you're creating memories with your little ones this weekend!
