This week, we're excited to show you little peeks into the minds of some of our designers, in hopes of finding out what inspires them!
Here's Jamie Harder to tell us more about her creative process...and read on to see her project AND learn a bit about Tomoko Takahashi's inspiration...
Websters Pages from Jamie Harder on Vimeo.
Isn't she adorable? Thanks to Jamie for sharing a little bit about what inspires you!
Here's a closer look at her gorgeous layout, and of course, the papers that inspired her design.
Jamie's Clean and Simple style is lightly layered and absolutely beautiful. We love how she's incorporated such lovely details and still kept her design true to her style.
Also notice how she's used the positve and negative parts of this stamped butterfly. Perhaps for the rest of us, our inspiration will come from Jamie's creativity!
Tomoko has a Classic Webster's Pages style, and we love looking inside her creative mind to find out how she came up with such a gorgeous design.
Tomoko says her inspiration was the original photo:
The bubbles in the photo have a lovely rainbow color so Tomoko tried to express that same color by converting her photo to black and white and coloring the page with beautiful rainbow colors.
Look at all the gorgeous details Tomoko included in her layout. We're completely smitten!
How about you? Do you relate to Jamie and Tomoko's sources of inspiration? What about these layouts inspire you?
Oh my gosh! That Tomoko is utterly amazing.

I agree with Jamie. The hardest part is cutting the paper!

I agree with Jamie too. Getting up the nerve to use my gorgeous papers/supplies is always so hard! Classic fear of failure here! Tomoko's style is absolutely gorgeous, but I wouldn't even know where to begin to produce a layout like hers. I'd love to, but I just don't know how. And talk about using supplies! I'd have to get over my aversion to that. How about a tutorial Tomoko?? Is there anywhere we can find basic tips for layering and creating "classic" Websters pages layouts?
I think Jamie's style showcases the photos more and Tomoko's style brings combines traditional scrapbooking with abstract art. Which style you choose depends on what your end goal is for your page, perhaps?

I love the layers! My goal this year is to learn how to layer dozens of embellies on my pages. I just love the look!
