I love to embellish with Memorabilia-I feel it helps to tell the story! For example, I saved a couple of tickets from my daughters' 7th Birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's, along with some of the paper goods (plates, etc.) to cut up and use for their scrapbook! You made a great page for your son,, and what a memory to treasure!

Love the layout... I'm always a fan of the slightly grungy look.

I always keep my admission tickets, boarding passes, bank receipts and the like whenever a take a vacation. I love to tuck them into a little corner of my layouts. I've even got a couple of reusable metro passes and some foreign money 'stored' in my scrapbooks. I'll know exactly where to find them if I ever return to the country where I got them!

I love your layout! What a great idea to use the leaf and acorn tops! Keep up the fabulous work!

Suzy Gray

each week I can see your confidence & style growing. Love this page - the journaling is just beautiful

I just adore this page, Brandin!! He's darling and I love how you incorporated all of the leaves and acorns. Brilliant!

In my wedding album on the page for my bridesmaids I used a piece of material their dresses were made out of as the background. It is still one of my favourite pages. Using things like that give the page even more meaning.

Ann Cicilie

Love this one, so rustique and boyish! And love how you used the leaves, my daughter has been hoarding them for the last few weeks and I need to find a way to use them :)

I love using receipts, tags from clothes, old fabrics, treasures from my mother's sewing box and so on. Using those kinds of things makes my scrapbooking personal:)

And by the way... Your boy is gorgeous <3

Wow, Brandin, you are no longer in the beginner category! This LO is not only beautiful but so heartwarming! I like to add a special little item that is personal to a page that wasn't necessarily meant to be a scrapping item.

OMG! I think this one has got to be my favorite LO of yours so far. The coloring of the photo, the bloomers, the natural, outdoorsy quality to it's all just plain FANTASTIC! I got teary eyed reading your comments and the journaling (you have such a way about you with your journaling...so expressive and emotional!) Your son reminds me so much of my Alex. He too has a facination w/leaves and acorns. He keeps his collection in a shoebox under his bed. :-) Thank you for sharing such a personal, sentimental piece of yourself and family.

I love this l.o. It is right up my alley. You never fail to amaze me.

I have been making cards, but am going to start scrapping after the holidays. Have been collecting little things along the way in a bag, so maybe it's time to see what I can put together. Love your page...so perfect for the gifts to mom!

What a cutie! I love he blue fabric flowers you used to accent - really makes the blue in the paper pop.

Lovely layout!

Love your layout--you son is precious! LOVE using ephemera on my pages. I like using maps that we used on vacation for backgrounds for travel pages.

Annie Wetherbee

I loved your picture of the little guy....precious! You using the organic elements...his found objects, was a wonderful choice. It inspired me to do a page I have thought about doing for a long time....with those precious found objects. I also used one of my many Unity stamp sets! Great timing! Thank you for the inspiration!

Beverly Jordan

I love that you personalized the LO with his favorites and made it organic. It is so important to remember who are pages are speaking to~~our children! Loved the warmth you brought to the it!

Thank you so much for showing us these wonderful layouts. Where do people get their inspiration from as I'd love to buy some of that please. !!!! I just drool over them all and do a wee scrap lift of a few but do my own take on them. I would so love to win anything at all as I'm not at all lucky but I'm is for a try anyway.
