i'm fragile ;o)
be kind
THIS IS HARD!
Ok...so this is it...
my
very first
scrapbook page!
tonight I found myself ...
happy crying going through our old pictures
not being able to create a layout sitting down
gravitating towards plain paper where I design in great detail
nervous about what you all would think
thinking "It's a lot harder than I thought!"
also thinking "It's more satisfying than I thought..."
taking WAY too long trying to place my photo
yelling at my scissors (I don't have good ones)
thinking i love grey, brown & black together
LOVING our bloomers ...
Ok, so this is what I want to do...
I want my children to have a book about how their mommy sees them through my eyes...
but I felt that I would be doing an injustice to them
if I didn't first show them
how much I love their daddy first ~
so the story begins with us.
And then comes them ~
And our story is continued...
So........
What do you think?...you can lie!!! hahaha ~ :o) This week's giveaway will be a pack of the new deluxe bloomers...I just love 'em ~ For the giveaway, just let me know your thoughts, suggestions, advice, laughter...ha! Thanks for continuing on this journey with me....does anyone want to share how their layout looks with me!? xoxo!

I love that you are sharing your process with us! Love the words you use, and your thoughts behind your very first layout :)
I think it was wonderful, can't believe it's your first! Perhaps I wouldn't use as many bloomers and buttons as you have, but then again, if I have unlimited access to Webster's Pages goodies, perhaps I would :D
I LOVE the picture, it's just magical, and I LOOOVE all the journaling, and that you've used your handwriting instead of printing out a text from your computer.
Keep up the good work Brandin, have a great week with your loved ones!

Hi Brandin - I think your children will have no doubt about your love for their Daddy - you have captured it beautifully here. I have been scrapping for over a year now and you are further long than me - I rarely journal anything on a layout but write it on the back, as I make my journalling private but if I had gorgeous writing like yours I would reconsider! This is beautiful - I would love to show you mine but as I don't have any Websters Papers (sigh)I am sure they dont qualify - one day! Well done - you are amazing and I ADORE those bloomers!

The first step is always the hardest but if you never try you will never know. Therefore a round of applause for yourself! You did a great job for a first LO, definately better then mine ;) will share it with you if someday. Remember a moment may be gone but memories stay will us forever so capture them and scrap to preserve all these precious moments.
