There's nothing like a bit of something unexpected to inspire creativity...and a bright, fun Halloween layout by Iris Babao Uy is just that.
There's nothing spooky about Iris' adorable photo, and the vibrant, eclectic assortment of embellishments elevates this layout to elegant...Notice how she added the ticking doodles around the edge of the Cat Cameo? We love it!
Plus, the evenly layered owls are the perfect touch of something special to make this layout really stand out.
We love the layered, classic look of Iris' layout, and we also love Diana Brodeur's clean, grid-loving wall hanging:
Each little embellishment gets special treatment and a time to shine when they're separated in the individual boxes but the photos are still the star. And notice how Diana cut apart the large natural circle trim and layered it behind the cat cameo:
The results are perfection!

I love both of these projects -- the layout is my kinda layout! Now, if I could just find a little girl to dress up.... Mine's 24 and a little too tall for a tutu these days!
