Today we are so excited to bring you a lovely tutorial by the even lovelier Anabelle O'Malley.
Anabelle created a little booklet as a thank you gift for a college professor. Her idea was to have everyone sign it for him. It needed to be bigger than a card, with enough space for everyone to write their messages.
The best part is, Anabelle is going to break the booklet down for us so we can create one of our very own.
Step One: First, I took an 8.5 by 5 piece of cardstock. I scored it at 4 and 4.25 inches and folded it to create the book.
Step Two: Cut several pages of white cardstock, 8 by 4.75 inches. Score them at 4 inches.
Step Three: Lay the papers onto the cover and zig zag stitch them down the middle to secure them.
Step Four: Now your little booklet is ready to go! I covered the front with the "Our Song" paper from the In Love Collection. Then I added a doily, layered on a transparency frame and added the door cut from a sheet of Everyday Poetry paper.
Step Five: Next, embellish the cover with a princess petal, some dazzle me gems and a stamped sentiment. Add some lace to the spine and tie some twine around the spine as well.
And that's it! Take a look at the finished product:
I love how this booklet can be so versatile. You could use it to jot down favorite quotes. You could make several and place them on tables at baby showers or weddings for guests to write their comments. Or, you could add your favorite photos and make a brag booklet.
Whatever you do, it’s bound to turn out lovely!
We wholeheartedly agree, Anabelle...versatile and beautiful at the same time! You can click on any of the images below to begin shopping for your own In Love product so you can get started on a booklet just like this one!

Experts predict that the coastline of Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii will see some pretty nasty debris wash ashore; California will have some, but less, as most of it will be caught in a current that will carry it to the pacific islands.
