I also loved the layered motifs we showed off in yesterday's blog post...The Perfect Motifs really are perfect...and today I want to show you that even Clean and Simple designs can benefit from a little hand-cut beauty.

Jaime's layout is a wonderful blend of Sunday Picnic, carefully placed embellishments and a couple of hand-cut motifs to make the page pop. And while you may be under the impression that fussy cutting is just for the intricate scrapbooker, well, we're here to Free Your Mind.

This page employs the use of white space in perfect amounts, which, on a Clean and Simple page, makes the motifs pop right out. That a little foam adhesive, that is...
The great thing is that you have the option to put the motifs wherever your little heart desires...and that kind of creative license is something to love. Don't you think?

Oh wow! Love the contrast between the two layouts! Julie's digi page w/the soft palette and fun, yet GORGEOUS photos...so beautifully designed and Jamie's sweet page with such bold colors and lovely details! I think it's fun to see them together, especially considering one is about a little girl who is suddenly 5 next to a page w/a bride eating ice cream on a whim on her wedding day. How perfect!
