Who am I?
Wife. Mommy. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Business owner. Artist. Big time procrastinator ;o)
Ok...what is not on the list?
Scrapbooker.
WHAT?! I co-own Webster's Pages, I design all the papers & products but I never use them. Is that a crime? I'm starting to think so.
I DROOL over what all of you create using the papers & embelli's that we design...I am ENVIOUS of all of you...
I want to learn how to be a scrapbooker.
There...I said it!
Now for the even scarier part...I need you all to teach me & I'll even bribe you with a FREE PRODUCT EVERY WEEK {he-he} & not scary because of you, but because all of you will see the journey that I will take to become a better memory keeper, storyteller & dare I say scrapbooker! You will see a side of me that you have never seen from me before...TOTAL VULNERABILITY on each step of my journey to become more crafty...
So be kind
Don't Judge
Don't laugh ~ hahaha! who are we kidding, you can laugh!
And help me learn how to start documenting my silly life's moments.
Any other non-scrapbookers or even experienced crafters want to take this journey with me!?
The Journey will look a little like this...
~ Once a week my beloved Design Team will post a weekly assignment on my Blog for me to accomplish
~ I will post my result every Sunday (again, BE KIND! ;o))
~ Every assignment that I complete will have at least one Webster's Pages product that will be given away each week! All you need to do is provide your comments on my result to enter the giveaway {BIG gulp}.
~ Throughout the week the design team will provide tips & ideas to help me with my weekly assignments. This is also when the giveaway winner will be announced. So check in regularly to see if you win!
Who's on Board?!!! Let's Get Started ~ h.e.l.p. ~ ;o)
~Brandin xo

I'm on board! I have absolutely adored websters pages from the very first line they did. I was just talking to my hubby though about how ironic it is that you are not a scrapbooker when the things you design FOR scrapbooking are so stunning! Maybe that's why though, you have sort of been on the outside looking in, so you had a really unique perspective! Totally thinking outside the box...Maybe this experience will further enrich your lovely designs, more knowledge=more power! You go girl! (some of this comment was authored by hubby)

Good for you. I can say I have never been sorry to be a memory keeper and even my youngest can tell you "If it isn't in the scrapbook it didn't happen".

Thank You!!!! I know i own half of the world of scrapbooking supplies(at least it feels like it) but honestly I REARLY scrapbook. I think in the 10 years I've been collecting supplies, I may have completed 3 min albums and maybe 10 pages. I say I am a scrapbooker yet I never do any scrapbooking. I need this journey to get me going. My son is starting his senior year and I have never scrapbooked a single page in his book....it just sits there.....empty. So I too will be walking down this road with you. You give me hope that I too can someday have my dream career of working in the scrapbooking industry. It would be my dream come true.

Okay, this is WAY too much fun! How ingenious!
Brandin - I never would have guessed you are not a paper crafter - your products are my absolute favorites - you definitely know what we all love, even if you don't know what to do with the stuff (yet).
Looking forward to vicariously living this journey with you! I know you will do a fantastic job!

This sounds like so much fun! I'm a mini book and card crafter who loves to alter stuff. Anything larger than 6x6 absolutely throws me into anxiety attacks! I'm game if you are Brandin!

Such courage! No judgment from me. Just encouragement : ) It will be interesting to see your progression. I am just getting back into scrapbooking as well. I became a CM consultant 14 years ago and when I quit to go back to school, I left scrapbooking behind. Now that I'm back into it, I've spent some considerable time and money in the last few months getting re-aquainted with the industry, getting organized, buying supplies/goodies and re-learning what's out there in regards to techniques, design and paper (I love paper). Anyways, this will probably be an inspiration to us all!

Brandin, I don't know what took you so long. Don't worry you are going to be a natural. All you need is a little practice and the best advice I can give is to allow yourself to be a beginner. I mean, don't be hard on yourself and don't judge. Be brave!!! Scrapbooking is the most amazing artistic medium and it will also enhance Webster's Pages designs because you'll have an even better understanding of how things are used. Have fun and keep making us beautiful papers and embellies!!! Hugs, Lisa
