...Isn't she love...ly? {singing}
...Isn't she won...der...ful...? {stevie wonder, watch out...}
My design team makes me smile. I am in aww of the inspiration they all give me & what they give the entire crafting community. I am truly thankful for them. Today I would like to pick on Iris & share a mini interview we had with her recently.
Oh! And as far as eye candy goes....check these out! Iris created them for our Show us Your Backsides Challenge.
Beeee...uuu...tiiii...ful {singing...that was my own song...ok, I'll stop now}
WP: How did you start scrapping?
Iris: I started when I had my first child and I ended up with tons of pictures. I wanted to include more than just pictures in the album such as mementos and journaling. That was when a friend introduced me to the craft and I got hooked ever since.

WP: Has your scrapping style changed?
Iris: Yes, I used to layer a lot and I could not rest until every space was covered. Now I still love to layer and add lots of detail but I always incorporate white space in my pages.
WP: You have two young children...when do you find the time to scrap?
Iris: At night when they are both sleeping! So if I have pages with mismatched colors I have an excuse - blame it on the poor lighting:)
WP: Do you have a favorite type of scrapbook product?
Iris: Paper definitely! But aside from that I am also crazy about lace and ribbons.
WP: What is your favorite Webster's Pages collection?
Iris: The Sweet Life is a definite favorite along with Feather My Nest
WP: Do you have other hobbies besides scrapping?
Iris:I take lots of photos but that also is connected to scrapbooking. If eating sweets will one day be considered a hobby then that would be 2nd in my list! LOL! Scrapbooking always takes the top spot!
WP: What inspires you?
Iris: Pictures, memories, stories to tell... Love for my two children most of all.
WP: Is your personal style in other areas of your life similar to your scrapping style (like clothes and home decor)?
Iris: I think so. I love white and pastel clothing with pretty prints.
WP: What do you hope to communicate through your pages?
Iris: The pages I make are really for my children and my enjoyment. I used to be focused on making pages that would get noticed or published - but then I realized it was not worth it. I just want to enjoy the process and somehow be able to show my children how much I love them.
WP: What would surprise people about you?
Iris: I eat cold spaghetti!! Yup - fresh from the ref!
Me Too Iris!!! Thanks so much for being such an inspiration to all of us!
